237: Rest In Peace Michael Crichton

Hey guys and gals :wave: It's been awhile since I've written a new journal about myself. I had alot of fun with The Big Halloween Contest and haven't said much about myself lately. Well, I'm sick with a Bad, Bad, Bad cold :sick: but i'm sure I'll be alright. Nothing that a little rock and rye can't help with :D If you guys have some really good remedies please let me know. My head is very stuffy :headache:
Let's see... I went camping back in the middle of october at Lake Jocassee/ Devils fork and had a blast. Oh yeah, I killed a pepsi machine at work. I rammed my forklift into it. What else??? My computer is still in service and I'm using this slightly crappy one with "Vista" Windows... I want back my XP Windows.

Oh yeah, My wifes favorite Arthor died of cancer a couple of days ago. Michael Crichton :tombstone: He was 66. I read a couple of his books and I loved them.
Leslie has almost all of his books. He was most famous for "Jurassic Park" yes, based on the blockbuster movie. He also done The 13th Warrior, Timeline, Sphere and other great books... We love you Michael :pray:

he was my fav author handsdown... both of the jurrassic parks were amazing.. i wish the movies were more like the books though... especially the 2nd. but he had a huge part in creating the movies with speilberg so what can ya do ya know? if you liked his work definately check out Prey. very good book. oh and Advil cold and sinus kicked my colds ass.

There will be no Nativity Scene in Washington, DC this year !
The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in Washington, DC this Christmas season. This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not been able to find three wise men and a virgin in the Nation's capitol.
There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.
