Hey guys, it's that time of the week again. Not much of anything new has come up lately. It's about to be mothers day and my mother is still alive. She has been living with a very slow cancer that will eventually kill her for 3 years now. She is in a very sad mood because "Sampson" her large German Sheppard was put down friday. After spending $2200 dollars to save him... he died, he had a fatal Staff infection. Sampson was about 7 years old. Mom said she'd prefer for me to take her out next thursday after mothers day instead of Mothers Day. Mainly because I get 5 days off starting then

Your mother sounds like a winner. Battling cancer I imagine is a tough battle. Obviously have never experienced it; but have observed it. We always imagined animals that died went to an animal heaven of sorts. Poor doggy. I send out my best wishes and prayers to them both.
Yeah, it sucks. That was the biggest damn dog I have ever seen in my life (Up close that is) He was very intimidating, but I knew he loved me when I wolud walk inside my mothers gate. He would have torn up anyone else, literally... he'd done it before... It's funny how some dogs can sense when your up to no good.

Yeah, My dad and my uncle died from cancer too. My dad was my closest friend for a long time. My Uncle I gave a kidney to. I appreciate the kindness and thoughts as I go through this valley of madness.

Sorry to hear about your mom's dog, that's such a shame And battling cancer alone is bad enough without having additional grief like that. I hope you'll manage to cheer her up and have a fun day with her next Thursday.
